About Tiff

Based in New York City, Tiff Hoke is a seasoned Accounting & Real Estate professional. Tiff started her career as a PwC Auditor for publicly-traded financial services companies and later worked for property management and development companies for over a decade. Before forming Tiff Consults LLC in 2022, Tiff was an Accounting Project Manager for a property owner, operator & developer in Manhattan.

• On-boarding new acquisitions -

  • Loading building & tenant data into existing systems

  • Provisioning tenant and payment portals

• MRI system implementation & optimization

• Establishing & documenting critical processes -

  • Monthly close

  • Expense recoveries (CAM reconciliations, utility recoveries & others)

• Leveraging use of SQL programming language -

  • Pulling system data for ad-hoc reporting needs

  • Exporting data for integration setup

  • Bulk data uploads or changes

• Cash management & budgeting

• System & security administrator (MRI, Appfolio)

• Coordination with Auditors & Tax Preparers -

  • Annual filing of 1099-NEC

  • Local tax filings including NYC commercial rent tax, PHL U&O
    and FL sales tax

  • Preparation of TC201, RPIE and other tax certiorari filings for
    review by tax advisors

Software Proficiency

• Significant experience with MRI & Appfolio, including significant experience with implementation and administration

  • Previous experience with Quickbooks, Rentec, Spectra & others

• Nexus Systems & AvidXchange (AP solutions), including building/managing workflows & integration with MRI

• ClickPay & Zego (Rent payment solutions), including integration with MRI

• Studebaker & Conservice (Utility management solutions), including system setup & integration with MRI

• SAP Concur (Expense platform), including integration with American Express

• Proficient with Xero, On-Site & BuildingLink
